Be responsible for a work-stream in a complex global programme and provide end to end technical leadership and ownership for post-sales engineering of the customer solution. Engage with pre-sales, product engineering, service delivery, service assurance and the customer, through the design, delivery and migration stages. Deliver level 4 support for design related support issues as well as engage with vendors for technical assistance for intransigent issues.
Engage with internal teams to provide technical thought leadership and support the project team including the Programme Manager with any technical requirements to help deliver the project on-time and under budget.
Own the low level design including any design documents, IP addressing schema, BGP AS numbers and other network metadata that help deliver the network requirements. Conduct periodic meetings with customers/stakeholders/vendors to discuss technical requirements and related action items.

- Create post-sales design documentation including but not limited to low level documents, per site migration plans, Microsoft Visio network diagrams, network metadata such as IP addressing schema and BGP AS numbers.
- Implement and migrate complex solutions for this global programme. Complex solutions consist of multi-product services. The TDA’s role is to ensure that these services interoperate and integrate into the customer environment.
- Such products consist of but not limited to MPLS, Ethernet, IPsec, Managed Security Services, SD-WAN, Managed Hosting and Cloud.
- The TDA will own the technical delivery of the work-stream in the complex global programme and will be the technical interface between the customer, product teams, and project management during service delivery.
- Close engagement with pre-sales, technically validating solutions proposed are deliverable and all technical aspects are clearly defined. The TDA accepts the technical ownership of the solution at the point of sign off.
- Lead customer facing technical workshops requiring excellent communication with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to all levels of competency.
- Providing support to implementation and third line teams for OEM and design related faults.
You have
(Qualifications and experience)
- 6-10+ years industry background
- Cisco CCIE lab certification preferable in either R&S or other aligned Cisco certification
- CCNP
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Design related background (3+ years)
- Ability to demonstrate technical design knowledge and design excellence under pressure
- Service provider background
- Deployed global WAN networks across manufacturing and industrial verticals
- Expertise in Microsoft Visio
