Autumn Trends

The Summer of 2018 has proven to be an exceptional one for a number of reasons. The weather has been glorious, the world cup was thrilling and the stock market has hit new highs. From a recruitment respective the Summer has been very buoyant with activity over June, July and August being twice that in 2017.

So what do we see over the next 3 months? Firstly we can expect the Financial community to be commenting on two main subjects; Namely Brexit and the 10 year anniversary of the Financial crisis.

From a recruitment point of view we expect the market to be a little light over the next few weeks, but then once school starts and everyone is back in the office we expect hiring to pick up as managers will need to fill gaps which were first identified when annual targets were set at the tail end of 2017.

The market is becoming increasingly candidate driven with companies now competing to hire exceptional talent. It looks set to be a very interesting Autumn.
