Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with the "Heads of" and DVP within the Risk Group, offering assistance in pinpointing areas for enhancement, identifying deficiencies, and highlighting opportunities for improvement
- Influencing the IT system agenda and investment trajectory to guarantee the integration of all Risk Group requirements into the IT planning framework
- Serving as a Subject Matter Expert for Market Risk, Product Control, Trade Control, Credit Risk, and Enterprise & Operational Risk domains
- Crafting strategies and blueprints for the Risk Group to drive change and effectively communicate these to relevant stakeholders.
You will need to have the following experience:
- Significant experience in Risk Management within the Gas and Power physical environment coupled with a good understanding of trading principles and retail operations
- Spearheaded change teams and change endeavours within both wholesale and retail energy companies
- Proficient in IT with a demonstrated history of driving improvements in IT systems
