You will be responsible for coordinating customer orders and shipments throughout the full delivery and booking process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the supply chain.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating shipments from order placement through to final delivery
- Managing booking processes with suppliers, customers, and logistics providers
- Monitoring shipment schedules and resolving operational issues proactively
- Liaising with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure accurate communication and timely updates
- Maintaining accurate shipment and operational records
- Supporting the wider operations and logistics team with day-to-day coordination activities
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a logistics, supply chain, or trading operations role
- A strong understanding of supply chain and shipment coordination processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Previous experience within chemical logistics, tanker operations, bulk shipping, or commodities would be highly advantageous.
