Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in coordinating maintenance activities and overseeing contractors working on HVDC and HVAC cable systems
- Supporting asset management processes, including fault response, investigations, and maintenance planning
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards
- Contributing to engineering reviews, design assessments, and technical reporting for infrastructure improvements
- Providing operational and analytical support across cable systems, converter stations, and associated assets
You will need to have the following:
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline)
- Exposure to high-voltage systems or energy infrastructure, ideally through a graduate scheme or similar experience
- Understanding of HVDC/HVAC systems and their role in modern energy networks
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
