Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development and execution of the operational risk strategy across global trading and operational activities
- Managing and developing an international operational risk team, driving collaboration and continuous improvement
- Overseeing incident management processes, including investigations, root cause analysis, and lessons learned reporting
- Developing and maintain key risk indicators (KRIs), governance reporting, and operational risk metrics for senior management
- Partnering with stakeholders across the business to strengthen controls, improve processes, and support risk-aware decision making
You will need to have the following experience:
- Strong operational risk experience within commodities trading, marine fuels, energy, or related trading environments
- Background in risk, audit, compliance, assurance, or internal controls within fast-paced commercial organisations
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience leading teams and driving operational and cultural change across international businesses
- Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, governance, and control environments
