Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily P&L production and analysis for commodities trading desks
- Investigate and explain P&L movements, working closely with traders, risk and finance teams
- Support daily risk reporting and analysis
- Review and validate trade bookings, valuations and market data inputs
- Contribute to process improvements, controls and reporting enhancements within the middle office function
Requirements:
- Exposure to commodities markets, such as Energy, Metals or Agricultural products
- Experience supporting P&L production and analysis
- Understanding of financial markets, trading activities and valuation principles
- 1–3 years of experience within Product Control, Middle Office or a similar commodities-focused role would be preferable
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
