Your responsibilities will include:
· Overseeing transaction reporting processes to ensure trades and associated reporting requirements comply with EMIR, REMIT and other relevant regulatory deadlines.
· Monitoring reporting errors, investigating discrepancies and working with Technical, Front Office, Operations and IT teams to resolve issues.
· Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, strengthen controls and enhance operational efficiency.
You will need to have the following experience:
· 1–2 years of experience in a relevant analyst role, ideally within regulatory reporting or middle/back-office operations, preferably in the gas, power or emissions markets.
· An understanding of financial and wholesale energy regulations, trade lifecycle processes and energy market operations.
· Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment. Intermediate or advanced Excel skills and experience with automation tools such as Alteryx would be advantageous.
