Are face to face interviews becoming a thing of the past?
We have been used to having interviews in the office before an offer would have been made, it was mandatory for new starters to come in for training and it would be rare for new employees to work from home at the beginning.
We have seen numerous clients globally changing their approach and adapting their hiring processes, in order to keep up with their businesses’ needs.
Many of our clients have now been requesting candidates for video calls instead. New starters are now working from home and training is provided through applications like Skype and online portals. When required, clients are sending company laptops/ phones by post to new employees.
We as a business have also been adapting well over the last couple of days, using apps like google duo for group video calls and slack to communicate with our colleagues on a regular basis.
